Nokia N82 Navigation

GPS Software tested on my N82:

a) Google Maps : Direct installation of small applet in your mobile phone.
Google Maps Mobile works good your internal GPS receiver (tested at N82).
Maps are not stored on your phone's card but are drawn from Google.
For that you need to be connected to internet (via Wifi or Via GPRS)
No voice naviagetion is provided as far as i know.
Street names appear in the language of your country automatically.
A lot of missing roads when used outside of main cities (i.e villages)

b) Navizon
Similar to Google Maps , works OK with Bluetooth GPS receivers.
In my N82 was not able to work with integrated GPS receiver so i couldn't try it.

c) Garmin GT version 50000
Complete Voice Navigation, works with internal GPS receiver of N82 (needs special procedure, check gamato).
Name Streets for Greece in Greek Language.
Maps are stored in your data card. Heavy software, slowd down phone performance draw out a lot of battery.
With the correct map installed you have street details of every village no matter how small it is (Checked in Greece with N82).
Includes Voice navigation

d) Nokia Maps.
Voice Navigation is not free.
Maps are locally stored in your data card.
You can load maps to your phone with Nokia Map Loader utility from a PC.
I don't like that for Greece the street names are in greeklish.
You have to guess the name of the street in greeklish writting.

e) Destinator
Not yet tested on my N82.
